This engagement session by Susan Yee from En Pointe Photography is just perfect for the beginning of summer. I love her Betsey Johnson dress – it’s so flirty and fun!

This pretend bridal session with Jessica Claire was shot by another wedding photographer extraordinaire Jesh de Rox during the antiWorkshop back in 2007. Love every bit of them!

These dainty little baby bonnets are made from vintage handkerchiefs for the baby’s trip home from the hospital. Many years later, the bonnet can be used again on his or her wedding day as a handkerchief again. I think this is my favorite baby shower gift idea ever. khW also offers one of a kind vintage handkerchiefs for the bride. After ther wedding, khW will make it into a bonnet for her first child.

Although the Vintage Hair Flickr group is not dedicated to bridal hair, I find it an amazing source of inspiration for, well, vintage updos. Some images date as far back as the 1800′s but you can also find modern takes on vintage inspired hair.

Happy Friday!
I am going away for the weekend but I will leave you with Mallory and Eric’s gorgeous farm wedding. Their wedding took place at Riley’s Farm – the same place where Mallory’s parents tied the knot 20 years ago. All photos by Christine Lee Smith Photography.
I love how expressive Mallory is on these photos. She definitely wins the award for the happiest bride with the biggest smiles!
